The World Land Trust is an international conservation charity, which protects the world's most biologically important and threatened areas acre by acre.  We have been lucky to partner with their team in projects in Mexico and Kenya to assist their efforts through film.

"We all know the emergency we are in.  We understand that the Sierra Gorda is a wonderful green island of life surrounded by this dark present . . . We want to think that in this crucial moment in time something better has to start."

Grupo Ecológico Sierra Gorda's work has led to the most bio-diverse federally  protected area in Mexico, the Sierra Gorda Biosphere.  The team works to conserve natural wealth by generating opportunities with community members and replicating lessons learned in other areas of Mexico.  Visit their website to learn more.

Jeremy La Zelle and I traveled to the Sierra Gorda Biosphere to film for the World Land Trust.  Our footage was used in the above edit.  We also made a documentary about the Sierra Gorda Biosphere and the important conservation work being done there to assists the efforts of Grupo Ecológico and the World Land Trust.
